Torchbeam LED Bulbs

I was wondering if anyone has used the LED Bulbs from Torchbeam? They seem like a cheap LED bulb with good results and they are highly rated on Amazon. I searched Torchbeam on the forum and nothing came up.

There are some older threads in the Lighting section on LED bulbs. Some seem to do well with them, others will advise that the whole assembly be replaced with a proper LED setup.

TorchBeam is owned by SunScent Auto, a Chinese company.

If you go to SunScent's website and read through the reviews you will find that they have 0 customer service. People have tried contacting them via their email and the listed phone numbers and have received no replies.

Travel at your own risk.

On the other side of the coin, if they are junk then a less than $40 investment isn't that bad.

i have another chinese brand led h13 replacement bulb that I am happy with.

The cutoff is not quite as 1/0 as a proper projector setup, but it's good and i'm not running around blinding people. Reviews are all over the place. They seem to make good stuff some of the time, and the odds seem pretty good that you get a decent bulb, but it's not foolproof and you shouldn't expect any after purchase support (and honestly for <$40 you shouldn't really expect it)

Forget everything i said. I thought a easily noticeable cutoff meant i was safe... drove behind my wife yesterday and man did she have a lot to say.

I asked her "was it bright bright or 'who's this fucking asshole' bright?"

She said asshole. Just finished putting my stock halogen bulbs back in.

Not to be an A$$ but your profile has a JT and a JL.. Get the good stuff.. Oracle bulbs.. work great in the stock H/light buckets.. just my IMO and I run Oracle.

Now see, a guy I work with has the oracle bulbs and he has a flicker to them. He has a JL.

1st thought: did the JL come with LEDs or Halogen? If Halogen they might need to use programmer and set to LEDs.. 2nd thought he should contact Oracle; they have been very responsive on my tailights which flickered until I reprogrammed for LEDs
