You can flat out disable the panic button with alfaobd if you don't think you'll ever want to press it.
Tazer does too.

yes the rim is raised but only to the level of the button.
And on my original the panic button sticks up well above the rim around it, so the Threedom may be an improvement.

The WK2 keyfob is much worse than the JT. The panic button has no protection around it and the neighbors have heard a number of false alarms.

A little different then what this post has become. But when I took the truck home my first want was to get this pointless key (sport so no buttons, actually pointless) down to at least close for JK size. As you can see, they killed it (took some time). I know obviously this Dosent work for anyone but sport owners, but this might be hands down the best upgrade yet. Key ring is way smaller in size. Also so much easier to lock the interior compartments

OORAH! What did you work on? I worked on F-18 A/B/C/D 20 years ago.
Started out with T1A (FJ), F8A Crusader and then F4 N's, J's and S's. Got out in 68 and went back in in 81 and retired in 01 as an E8 Avionics Chief.
