Ive read a lot about the tow ratings, max tow, standard, etc.
There are some questions i cant seem to find and what i do find seems odd.
What im trying to figure out:
transmission “automatic 850re”
Trim=willys 3.73 gear ratio
*But not the wide axles*
engine = 3.6 gas
seems like some trims, like the overland get rated at 6,000 lbs in this configuration
Others like the sport are rated at 4,500 lbs in the same configuration.
Then there is zero info on the willys. So it be 6,000 or 4,500?
It seems like the rubicon (7,000) lbs with the wide axles and 4.10 gearing must be docked for the softer suspension???
ive been on the jeep web site all over google... why isnt this easier to find (or did i miss it). I think a chart on the jeep.com websitewould be fantastic!!! Ordoes anyone with a willys , auto, 3.6l& 3.73 know what their tow rating is?
