DO watch now that they've changed the sensors since summer of 2021 - get the correct part number for YOUR build date, etc. - it's one reason I only buy correct MOPAR part numbered sensors from MOPAR vendors like Benny. I won't try to save a buck with copies or knock-offs.
But the new ones I had installed in the Rubicon tires and wheels I got - they stuck the sensors in, mounted the tires, and I drove out with them working. When I had the 5th one put in a new wheel for a spare with a new tire - it simply worked.
Agreed, Benny will be my source on these and many an item for sure. Thanks for info.

I thought it was dumb that jeep didn't include a tpms in the spare, so I had the dealer install one today. The part was 49, they charged 28 for labor. I'm pleased with those prices, so much cheaper than the Toyota prices on the Tacoma I came from.

I had the same experience with Toyota. Apparently theirs were made from gold & silver. At least that’s the only reason I could think would justify the amount they charged me. ???

Toyota is weird like that. I think it has to do with their philosophy of taking like many years to slide new tech into their product line. With both TPMS and rear back up cameras, they had like only a couple of years before it was mandated and their integration of such things always seems to be ham-fisted, over complicated and expensive on the first generation vehicles they roll it out to.
