I’ve tried running through old threads, I want to change the parameters in the system using something like the jscan or tazer, or whatever else suggested.

I installed the auto stop disable device and it does good. I saw it on this youtube channel.

The only other mod I want to make is changing my tire pressure parameters so I don’t get the light. Which method would be the best for this and do the numbers stay set even after removing the device?

I learned how to disconnect the sway bar in 4 High watching this video by holding traction control button until it beeps. This was useful to me.

I wish there was regional hands on help with this stuff. I’m in the San Antonio Texas region

So if I use the tazer mini and pull it off, the changes stay ?

Added: everything I’ve read says make the tire pressure changes with the tazer mini and unplug it (divorce), not unmarry

I guess I gotta do my secondary option which is to buy 4 new sensors, marry them to vehicle and put them in a cylinder made from 4” pvc with fitting and inflate to 37 lbs.

I kinda wanted to be able to see actual tire pressure though.

You should be able to make the changes you want using Jscan.

There is no 'marrying' the TPMS sensors to the vehicle. Active sensors are automatically detected. The location is determined by the distance from the RF hub.

This video sure makes it look easy for the tazerlite though. I’m confused on the Jscan how you go about paying for a license and how much ? Plus Extreme terrain gives me a Military discount.

You buy the license from inside the Jscan software, it's about $20. You do need a Security Bypass cable and a Bluetooth dongle. You'll also want to get the extension cable for the Security Gateway, regardless of the route you take.

TazerLite is the way to go. Has the essentials, priced better and you can upgrade it later on to the full "Tazermini" version if you want. I have a TazerLite in both my wife's JL and my JT.

And I can just adjust a new TP range, unplug it and put it in a drawer and setting stays good, right ?

It really sucks to have all of this complexity just to keep things simple.

My daily route includes a 5 mile section that is paved with sharp bowling balls every 3” (inches) and broken chunks of limestone, river rock, occasional boulder, flint, and 5 creek crossings. A lower TP, Rancho RS7MT Shocks, in 4 High with 300lbs in bed, swaybar disconnected is the best the ride gets. Speed is between 1/2 mph and 9mph at best.

I’m already tired of it reminding me my TP is low 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Bothers me more than the ride !

Yes once you change the TMPS you can then unplug the tazer. But I dont see why you would? I leave mine plugged in. Doesnt effect anything negatively. Oh, you can also disconnect the sway bar in 2wd with the tazerlite. The tazer will also turn off your license plate lights when in reverse to reduce glare at night. You have to leave it plugged in for the sway bar and license plate light features to work.

The tazer really is simple. Theres no complexity to it.

That would not work sensors are read when tire is in motion I would tire JScan it should only be around 50$ to buy a Bluetooth adapter from Amazon and a vin license from JScan
