TPMS Warning when Pressures Read Correctly 100% of the Time

Bought new Kenda Klevers (2nd set) from Wal-Mart. They installed them and must have broken one sensor. It would read -- and then work and then -- again. I bought a new sensor and had them swap it. Now all sensors read, but about 10 minutes (or miles) into my morning commute I get an audible chime and the TPMS light blinks. Then it becomes solid. After work, it is on solid. It only seems to reset over night, but it comes on without fail 10 ____ into the next day's trip. The pressures ALWAYS work, and none are red.

Any ideas?

What pressure are you running?are they all low/high?

What is the code? The bcm should tell you a bit more than we can guess.

A blinking TPMS light for 1-2 minutes followed by it being solid means there's a fault with either the sensor or the connection between the sensor and the truck. Our trucks have the ability to learn the sensor automatically (which is why you can do a 5 tire rotation without the tire shop manually re-pairing the sensors on the mounted wheels), so it's probably a fault with the sensor itself. This could be a broken or damaged sensor or just a low battery. A tire shop should be able to read the sensors and tell you if one has a low battery or is not transmitting.

His pressures all read correctly, so I would think it is a location calibration issue or even a low battery in one of the sensors. He needs the fault code or a reputable tire installer to do the job.

Can I read TPMS codes with the Taser?

ETA: Looks like no. I'll have to use a better scan tool.

Every Discount tire I have ever been to, have checked tire sensors for free. Even my local tire shop scanned my tpms on my Grand Cherokee.

I do not believe it is the sensor or battery
I personally believe it is the receiver I have one that is constantly out - if I rotate tires then who knows which one will be out . No one has been able to determine the problem- I think the new receiver is the issue

It might be a plug or connector if that unit was recently replaced.
