Folks, looking for some advice/suggestions and a can of worms.
Would like to do the budget friendly spacer lift, 1.5" up front & .75" rear, this is going on a diesel Sport S. Should I be concerned with upgrading the track bars for this? Is the small amount of lift gonna make a huge difference in other areas that are otherwise hidden or at least hard to spot?
Next, I've upgraded those 245's with some 285's and so far I've not noticed anything crazy. The steering wheel is as steady at 80mph as it is at 0 and would like to ensure it stays that way, so would a stabilizer be a good investment at this point?
I'm sure the answers I'm going to receive will be yes and yes, however would like some form of reasoning behind the recommendations and what you folks have installed on your trucks.
Farming is a way of life around here, outside the day job, so off-roading is always in the mix of things as well as hauling and towing. No extreme ditch jumping, fording 3' deep creeks or trying to climb the dam on the ponds, well maybe 25 years ago ?.
