I miss the room in the interior and the power but the fun factor makes up for it 👍🏻

I had gotten a 2018 Ram 1500(my 4th Ram) on the same day I test drove a '23 JTR last Spring. Didn't want the high payments to have the JT. That test ride wormed around in my head for 10 months and then I traded the Ram in for a '24 JTM about 45 days ago. With a higher payment than I would have had with the JTR from the test ride. But I feel like the JT is really the truck I didn't know I needed, this whole time of having Rams. Though I'll always like them, too. So, I'm living with that stupid high payment due to being upside down on the Ram.

Had a ‘16 Sierra All Terrain X then a ‘18 Denali Ultimate with a twin turbo kit to a JT Mojave. Biggest cons are obviously power, the sound of a v8, and cab space. It’s nice being able to pull into a parking space the first time and don’t have to worry too much about how wide or narrow the trails are. You’ll also notice a lot more road noise (nothing turning up the radio can’t fix) and have both hands on the wheel more than you’d think but all the pros out weigh it. No regrets.

I traded my 2014 in on my Gladiator. I loved my Silverado, but zero regrets.

Same here, but a 93 YJ, lol
Mine has four angry squirrels but I did several things that helped quite a bit. When I got it, it came with 33' tires, it would hit 65 on flats but that was pedal to the metal. I changed all engine sensors, swapped the injectors for Ford 19lbs 4 hole injectors, 4.0 TB, full exhaust with headers, and swapped the intake conical filter for a better one. I would have preferred the stock airbox but it came without it. After all that, I was able to do 75 on flats. Big improvement. I then regeared it to 4.88 and it helped a lot. I could cruise at 75 easily. Sketchy and loud as hell with a soft top. I then did new brakes in the four corners, and new front suspension linkage. I also replaced the steering shaft and bearing and that really tightened the steering feel. I can drive with one hand. Since I moved to higher elevation the angry squirrels got a little wheezy so I went down to 31" tires and that is a sweet spot for the 4.88s and the 4 cylinder. Now I am averaging 17 MPG. 3 better that my JTR on 35s.

Nice rig. I have the 4.0 and running 35's. It was regeared to 4.56 and I had the catalectic converter removed when I replace the exhaust manifold and run the exhaust straight back. It actually accelerates very well and 80 is no issue on the highway. I do need to get a good running start to go up steep hills, lol My MPG is approximately 14 or so. The top and doors stay off from early May until November.
