Hi,
I have tried with zero success (multiple trips to dealer and asking other Gladiator owners , posting questions and etc) to find a remedy for my 2022 Rubicon automatic with no modifications will not go into 4 wheel low range. The Shifter physically moves into position, the transfer case physically engages into a low gear, but the dash indicator shows Neutral or “N”. The only thing the jeep will do is drive forward or reverse in 1st gear. Thats it. No front diff engagement, and no shifting gears.

Does anyone have experience with this situation ?

Thank you for your help,
Mike

I had a transfer case problem on mine where it would pop out of 4L into N with any form of stress on the transfer case while in 4L. THIs was a new stock Gladiator off the lot in 2020. I took it to the dealer and they adjusted the physical linkage between the transfer case and lever. Apparently it was not adjusted correctly at the factory.

Dealer took it to their dirt lot and did some 4L driving and confirmed issue. Adjusted transfer case, did the same testing and gave it back to me fixed.

I'm unsure if you're having the same issue as mine would show the correct transfer case selection but just physically pop out into N from 4L.

Your dealer needs to do better. Maybe contact Jeep Cares for some sort of help, (seems hit or miss).

Update: my dealer is replacing my transfer case next week- parts ordered. I was hoping for a switch or bad wire connection…..

Interesting... I was told that the linkage was adjusted . My Tcase never came out of gear, just wouldn’t go in properly

UPDATE: My dealer has installed a new transfer case. I picked my Jeep up this am and did about 1 hour worth of trail driving in 4low. Seems like she is all fixed! Dealer indicated that there was something in the t-case acting as an obstruction, but I don’t have any details. I want to thank everyone for their input !!

I have the MT, but when that happens in mine it's because it's actually right in-between N and Lo.
