Need your help, I am little confuse with one thing. I know the process of changing transmission oil. Once oil is filled, start the jeep and warm up tranny oil to at least 86 degree and do the gear shift from R, N D, 2nd gear, rev 2,000 rpm and then do the oil check again. But what really confuse me when checking the final oil level, I see some said to check oil while engine is running and some said to stop the engine. Which one is correct?

Is there an chart that utilizes Fahrenheit? Instead of celsius
Use 86 and 122 degrees.

86°F is the minimum temperature for all of the solenoids and valves to open and allow the fluid to flow through all passages. 122°F is the highest temperature that does not have a large effect on fluid expansion such that you do not have a false reading.

Here's the PDF - print it and use Google, Alexa, Siri or whatever to convert the numbers then write it on the print you just made.

I watched it today it's a good video on it, I was trying to motivate myself into getting it done... Then it started raining crazy.

Here are the "freedom units" you are looking for:
between 86 f and 122 f to do the work.
Below or above, and it is out of range.
