Hey everyone, hope you’re enjoying the holidays thus far. Went to take the rig out this am when I got a “service the transmission” light come on and the truck would not shift out of park.

Never had any prior issues with anything and currently in 38500 miles.

I tried seeing if the fuses are seated, checked for faulty harness (visually) as well as disconnecting the negative battery terminal with no avail.

A reset needs both batteries to be disconnected. Just pulling the negative terminal on the main battery is not sufficient.

Ok I got an update from the dealer and they said they need to replace the whole shifter assembly, looks like I won’t have the truck back until 2022

So far it appears so, but we all know how “stealers” work. I’m re-geared on 40s…. I’ve already heard hints of “well it’s heavily modified”
