Anyone know if there is a transmission tuner available for the 3.6? After regearing my diffs the downshifting is a bit much at times. I think the computer thinks it is towing something even while empty so for example, if I hit the brake just enough to light up my brake lights it immediately downshifts a gear or two depending on the speed and slope. All other scenarios it generally runs well (acceleration, cruising etc.)

It’s not a deal breaker (regearing was the best mod after going to 37s) but it would be awesome if we have the capability to improve it.

Cheers

Then it's possible what you are feeling is how it would normally be but amplified now with a much lower axle ratio.
That's how mine acts when I'm descending a 3-4% grade and touch the brake pedal just right (generally a bit more than just "lighting up the brake lights - I have to push hard enough to feel the brakes apply then let up)
Mine does that on our hills around here depending on how I apply the brakes - and that's with stock gears and not towing.

You CAN use JSCAN and likely AlfaOBD (can't say if Tazer does it) to force a relearn.
You can't "tune" the transmission but you can force it back to a time when it was an infant and hadn't yet learned how to walk.
I'd give that a shot.
Mine went through the whole relearn process when I got one of the early PCM updates.

Good callout on the relearn process. I will have to give that a shot. I like the fact it downshifts for engine braking just hoping to tone it down a bit lol.
