So now I have got my (new to me) 8.4 Uconnect radio working. Off-Road Pages are working as they should. My Forward Camera is also working as it should. Anyhow now i am looking at other features that are available to me. The Travel Link page opens up. I was thinking about subscribing to the travel Link through my Sirius account. I think I read it only cost like $1.99 a month.

I am not sure how much it costs as I'm still under the 60 month trial. I use it all the time for the weather maps and forecasts. It also will show gas prices nearby, movie times, sports scores, etc but I don't use any of those. I'd pay $2.00/mnth for it, personally.

Isn't that what the weather on cell phones is for? Those apps are free.

true, but I try not to pick up my phone while driving. I am old and fragile not coordinated like you young guys who can text while driving.
Then when do you look at the travel link?

I love Travel Link when we take trips. Use it to find the best prices for diesel.

Rented a Jeep that had travel link last week. I don't subscribe to it on my 8.4. To be honest, found it clunky and useless. The phone does a much much better job.

Travel Link is for boomers who want to shun phones but also want to kinda participate in their digital life even if the phones can do it better. Larry will be by soon to confirm this, I am sure. Sorry, how it is.

In related news is there a way to turn off the weather warnings that are default? Yeah I know it's going to be windy, I'm not trying to fly my Jeep or set sail in it... who cares?
