I ended up buying from Koons (again). I traded my 2015 JKUHR that I ordered from them for a Gobi North Edition. I’m happy with the deal I got, and Craig was super helpful to work with.

I had emailed Travis at Tri-City a few times, and he was also very helpful and seems like a good guy based on my limited interaction with him. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to do business with him in the future, but Koons had the right Jeep with the right options at the right price, so I went with them.
We bought a Grand Cherokee from Koons a while back. I agree they are good to deal with.

i posted this last month on my overland experience/purchase:

So I started researching the JT prior to purchase. He's how it went:
  1. Did the USAA truecar. This was a starting point to get some contacts.
    • TrueCar out the door (OTD) would have been approximately $49K at Southern Jeep (Greenbrier location)
  2. I check the Jeep Forum and found 2 fellow forum buddies purchase from Safford Jeep in Warrenton and got great deals
    1. Tony Trapal and Kenny McCarty at Safford were great to work with
    2. Ultimately they offered me an overland OTD for $43K--which was about the range i was looking for (13% off MSRP, 6-7% off invoice). They sent me an offer letter
  3. I took the offer letter to Southern Jeep (Norfolk location).
    1. This location tried to offer me the Overland for $51K OTD. I then showed them my TrueCar price and later I showed them the Safford offer. They immediately knew I've been doing my homework. The salesperson literally said "this aint your first rodeo...ok let me see what we can do"
    2. they matched the Safford price...but as a courtesy to Tony/Kenny I wanted to see if they could offer a better deal. They couldn't...but Southern Jeep didn't have to know that.
    3. Southern then countered again and offer me cash back in the form of cashier check to get me OTD at $41K
    4. the cash back was for me to purchase my own tonneau cover and line-x
    5. It felt a bit shady at Southern Greenbrier because they didn't want to put the final offer in writing, but the salesperson sent me confirmation via text message so I at least had it in that form of writing.
Overall if Safford Jeep in Warrenton weren't 2.5 hours away I would have probably worked with Tony/Kenny to work something out. They just felt more genuine and understood the Jeep Gladiator forum group. But at the end of the day...Southern Jeep is local and I got my JT for the price I wanted (19% below MSRP). Good Luck future JT buyers!!! Hope this helps...

Just bought a Gladiator Sport; list was 45,155. Traded a 2011 Tacoma for 9,500 and paid 28,800 cash.Total of 38,300. 14% total discount from list. It's a different model, but just wanted to share my discount experience.

Oops! Here they are. This is day 1. It won’t look this way for long. Lift, tires, bumper, winch, etc., are going on soon.

So that was $41k including taxes, tags, destination and all fees? What options do you have? What was your MSRP?

I am looking at a 2020 leftover on a local lot. He came at me with $44k OTD, but I don’t think thats nearly good enough and your post seems to confirm.

Thanks in advance!

You know this thread is almost year old? :)

What's the MSRP of the JT you're getting $44k OTD quote?

Wow! My Jeep hasn’t looked like that for a while. MSRP was $52,650, and my OTD price was $43,446.70.

Here is a recent shot in from of my mom’s barn.
