I wonder if this was my issue last year. After a software update, all kind of things failed on the radio. It had to be replaced.

Wonder what “Wi-Fi hotspot connection failure” includes. I recently realized that despite having an active ATT vehicle plan for the Jeep, connecting to the hotspot does not provide actual internet service.

I think it is multilayered procedures like this that the Uconnect website never says and releases direct to consumer downloadable USB updates and always says none are available and you are up to date.

(but I've never seen a trillion dollars either, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist)

From what I understand just GLANCING at the TSB, not actually reading it, but skimming - it replaces other existing TSBs for some of the issues listed, and adds the hotspot/internet fix in the mix - making a new TSB and new update. So this one wraps the others into one and adds the internet bit.
Anyone reading the whole thing can feel free to correct my assumptions from just glancing.

But it's not the same as the TSB firmware from the dealer.

So I guess since the Uconnect website says that I'm up to date. the unit needs to be replaced. I have 2 of those symptoms from the TSB list, faulty GPS location (usually only when I really needed to use it) and my Favorites call list keeps disappearing. Of course I,m now past 36k.

Likely different stuff. My bet is the dealer update is more firmware than a simple over the air software update.

Wonder if the wifi hotspot connection fix, means we can actually sign up and get wifi in the jeep. My favs keep disappearing every week as well. The jeep is going for a door seal replacement and oil change, may as well have this done then
