First, I got in the habit of pushing the auto stop button to shut it off.Lately I have not shut it off and when stopping at a light the engine has not been shutting down has anyone else had this happen? Second I just received my Threedom model M key fob for my Gladiator and what a wonderful thing not to have that big heavy Jeep fob in my pocket. As for the emergency key I hid it on the truck where I can get to it if I ever need it.

Watch the ESS screen and see if it provides a reason. It can be low voltage levels from not being driven enough, or from batteries starting to fail. It can also be from high temperatures outside.

Mine stopped too because I drive it 12 miles a week round trip total for my 2 days in the office. I know, I really need to drive it more. It's so nice I want to try and keep it as pristine as possible so I have a JK basher that we knock around in haha. Anyway, I did drive the JT across the Denver metro the other day and it briefly started shutting off again at stop lights, then took a road trip to Dallas and the aux battery is apparently so charged now that it starts/stops all the time now! I've used a trickle charger on it too (Battery Tender Jr.) and that lights up solid green in less than a day. But my experience is driving for distance works really well to get the aux battery back to charged and working the auto stop start again

The ESS battery is useless. Mine quit working 4 months after buying my truck and I couldn’t be happier. When I go on hour plus drives it will start working again.

I too don’t drive my JT’s a lot so I have them both plugged in to battery tenders. Very cheap way to keep the batteries charged and the ESS working only to shut it off. I too am not fond of the ESS but I do want my batteries to last as long as possible. The total install takes less than 5 minutes.

Wondering where you got the Threedom fob seems where ever I go I get "is that your jeep key or are you just happy to see me"

If the AC or heat is on high, the Auto Start/Stop won't work, as they draw too much electricity. Also if you don't apply enough pressure on the brake pedal, it will not work.

Mine is doing the same thing, but mine started after my Jeep was at the body shop for 3 months. It has not worked since I got it back in Dec, but I have only driven with it on a few times. I believe the previous owner had a tazer and set it to have the auto start/stop turned off. If the light is on, it stays on no matter how many times I park the Jeep and drive it the next day. I just recently started driving with the auto start/stop on and my Jeep has yet to shut down at red light.

Mine hasn't worked consistently since I bought it a year ago. When I take it in for an oil change, I'll mention that it's not working. Last time, they replaced both batteries and checked other stuff...but it's still not working. I keep getting new batteries and don't have to worry about turning it off!

I had this happen when I first got my Mojave I took it to the dealer they said nothing was wrong and it work for them. I live in texas and with the heat if you have ac or heater on or a window open it won’t allow it to work because it isn’t in a stable temp yet. Let the vehicle cooldown or heat up depending on the season and it should start working again. They were right
