It is a little on the gooey side. It’s hard to reach up in there. What would cause it? And what joint would have grease in it like that? Thank youFeel it - is it perhaps a grease flung out from that joint?
It's not antifreeze and it doesn't look much like transmission fluid.
Yeah a Clayton 2.5 which is really a 3.5. Pretty extreme I thinkDo you have a lift? Steep hill could have put the driveshaft at an angle like a lift kit will do and caused grease to slowly exit the boot. The pic you posted shows what looks like grease that has been there a while, not new.
