— delaminated

You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means...
Really plywood delamination is a serious problem. The only thing worse is a land war.

That's delaminated, man. Honestly? Keyless entry in actuality, really involves a key, placed within a fob, within in your pocket?

So really you still have to take the fob off your dresser, only you don't have to take it out of your pocket at the car. Saving you half of that action time.

Then, as you go about your day, you get 100% time savings because you're hands free and you don't have to go in your pocket nor put the key in the lock (minus the time re-added due to poking your stubby at a start button and placing your footy on the pedal in sequence).

But then, you do have to put the key fob back on the dresser upon return home. Of course.

I still hold with those who agree this key fob is vastly delaminated.

But I do like these cool buttons:

When i read about the number of people bitching about ESS and how you have to push a button to turn it off every time you start the car, i thought about the proximity entry fob. Everybody that didn't want to push the ESS button should buy the proximity key, so they save this half a second.

But really, the proximity key is awesome. :like:

One more comment about the proximity keys. I was just walking out to my van with a bunch of stuff, had to set it all down, fumble to find my keys to unlock the door.

With proximity keys, you just walk up and open the door. Sure that inconvenience only took me 10 seconds today, but it was cold and windy. Multiply that by 5 times per week, 52 weeks per year, 10 years of ownership. That's 26,000 seconds of convenience! 433 minutes 7.22 hours.

You might consider it a safety feature as well = the whole time someone is distracted because they had to fish for keys, they likely became a good target for a bad guy.
Just sayin'...

OR if you're having to run through bad weather to get in, you could avoid a tad more exposure :rain:

Wiki:. Today, many cars with power door locks also have a radio frequency remote keyless system, which allows a person to press a button on a remote control key fob, the first being available on the French made Renault Fuego in 1982.[1]
