He did pop his ball joint but the knuckle survived in fact Rory popped the ball joints back into the knuckle put the wheel/tire back on and gave him a tug with Trailmater and out of the tub he came.

That's a different tub than the blue Gladiator tub. That one is Mickey's hot tub just as you're about to go down the Dragon's Tail and turn towards Escalator and Tip Over Challenge

I know that no one likes to come on a forum to hear some engineer ramble on about esoteric technical concepts regarding some specific incident to a specific vehicle they haven’t even inspected, but I can’t help but think that this whole situation could easily have been avoided if his Gladiator was red.
