This stuff beats that plastic wire loom hands down. Not as good as that fabric electrical tape wrap but way more cost efficient from what I’ve found.

I hate this stuff so much.

Looks nice, pain in the ass to install. I've got one buddy that has me use it on his stuff, and I charge him / trade him extra to deal with it

More expensive (roughly twice as much), too, from what I've found in a comparable product - braid vs split loom. Not cheap stuff from auto parts store though - from the supplier I use in next post.

Good high quality automotive harness wire. GXL is the best for me, but SXL and TXL are great too , the SXL having thicker insulation and the TXL being thinner.

Wire Barn is a good backup, though my last order was advertised as GXL and came as 'primary wire'. Not quite as nice but totally workable.

I prefer split wire loom over braid, but I guess its because its what I worked with for years building new trucks. This isn't the cheap Auto Zone stuff. It's high quality, high temp rated.
