*Subject to change

That's what I was trying to explain a few posts back.
Indeed.

But it's not going to change tomorrow either.

And if it's not on this outlook, Mr Insider random dude in Florida doesn't know about it either.

Until I can buy it or order it, I don’t take any of it seriously. I didn’t even watch the video. 😆

We should hope and root for them to provide us many engines options beyond the V6 3.6 which i love and the 4XE. They always say freedom of choice right.

Yeah, there's always the choice of a Bronco, Maverick, Rivian, Toywagon, and a multitude of others.

Could one deduce then there is no Wrangler redesign in 2028 and 2030 would be the earliest if they are allocating 392's through 2029 MY?
Thank you for asking what I was wondering but didn't want to be the first to ask.

IF that's the case, and since the JT front half and then some is based on the JL......... hmmmmmm

They specifically say "JL" rather than Wrangler, so does it mean the JL platform continues as is?

So many questions, so few answers, so very little time.

It would not surprise me if 2029 will be the same as 2018, where both, the outgoing and incoming platforms were built and sold.

Plausible. I can see that.

Good point.

If you think about it though, there is two production lines at Toledo. Back in 2018, JT was not a thing until the JK line was eventually phased out and that allowed the JT to be produced.

If they do a split model year again in 2029 for the Wrangler, that means the JT line would have to be shut down to support that new Wrangler model phase in.

Very valid thoughts! That wasn’t on my radar. I’d guess that future sales numbers will drive such decisions.
Potentially if the JT sales lag enough and the JL numbers are strong, it could very well be that the JT line steps aside for the intro of the new Wrangler.

I don't see it as speculating at all when a person who works at/for FCA - is inside the building, sees what's staged and so on, then another one who has access to the documents directly, first hand, knows the vendors and now things work from an insider's view - directly, first-hand, are saying "no way".
It's really not speculating when you have direct, first-hand information and there's nothing on the table, along with all of the other reasons, including contractual, financial and others.
Listen here, bub. Quit trying to inject logic, reason and information from actual experts into a discussion.

That in mind...

I heard from a guy who saw a TikTok video that was a copy of a YouTube video that has a cousin who knows the guy that works the gatehouse on the employee lot at Toledo that his buddy on the line told him not to tell anyone but the Hemi the JT is getting is a fuel injected version of the 426 Elephant and it'll be out by the end of the 3rd quarter of this year. Trust me, bro. It's true.
