Vacations Are Bad – They Make Me Spend A Lot of Money on My Jeeps!

I have taken a few trips in the last month or so, and I get bored! This is bad because then I come on the forum a lot and see all the cool stuff people are doing to their Jeeps and I start spending... I have ordered so much stuff for my Jeeps in the last month or so, I can't even remember buying it until it shows up at the door... Vacations are so much more costly that just the trip!! I have to get back to work.

This forum made me realize I could order a custom truck out of state for cheaper than what any local dealer would want to charge me, that I did want and need the rubicon, to get a lift and 37’s from the start and I can’t even begin to talk about the gadgets and money spent on other Knick knacks that add up outside of the big items. No regrets, love this thing and all I need to do is remind myself to use it more than a commuter.

I like that you said "Jeeps" i am getting ready for a vacation and our camper was stolen and recovered 24 hours later thus started a spending spree to replace stolen items and a chance to improve storing and packing methods to make my life easier when packing all the crap up. Now teh camp will get a fresh coat of paint and i have replace the rotten pieces of wood and sealed her up as best i can.

Why shouldn't she. You spent on her jeep as well as yours. If you did just yours, I could see her point. Have a blast with your jeeps.
