Delivery is supposed to be any day now, could be ready tomorrow, or the next, worst case next Monday.

I'll be documenting the whole build, this reminds me of when I was 16 years old and we used to take our engines apart and talk on forums all day sharing ideas, mods, etc.

This is almost nostalgic since I've been driving higher end european cars that are not even close on the "mod" side of the passion and hobby without butchering them and making it look like a hot mess + warranty issues.

I did european delivery on my first AMG about 6-7 years ago and did a whole thread on that experience/trip in a different forum, this is the closest I've been active in a forum since then lol.

Does that induce a pull? Any reason to spend the extra $ on an adjustable through shaft?

I don't mean to derail, so if there is another thread to take it to - feel free to let me know. I've been doing recent reading/research and there seems to be mixed opinions about the "standard" stabilizer (i.e. this one, 985-24-173) vs. the TS/ATS models. I saw some mentions that the standard one causes pushing/pulling, so I'm curious about this as well.

If it is, in fact, positively charged and wants to expand back on its own, how exactly *wouldn't* that lead to the aforementioned pushing/pulling? I'm not trying to assume anything...just want to make an educated purchase. The reviews seem generally positive on this model, but would like to hear both sides.

After ordering these only to be notified they were on backorder in multiple places after the fact, Tactik came through via Amazon.

I cancelled my other orders and messaged them inside Amazon (something I've never done and didn't even know if it would work) but they replied and confirmed they did have 10 in stock units ready to ship.

EXTREMELY impressed by how fast this was, ordered on the Sept 3rd and they just hit the doorstep in 4 days flat, that's including Labor Day weekend, unreal but very impressive to receive 5 wheels that fast.

I ordered the same wheels, they are on their way but my glad is still likely 8 weeks out!

That 37x12.5R17 mileatar is hard to find at the moment, actually any tire in that size seems to be.

You will love the wheels, I’m extremely happy with them and they aren’t even on the truck yet hahaha.

The wait is treacherous, especially with the uncertainty with plant closings because the chip situation.

Yeah that tire still hasn’t shipped since I ordered them 3 weeks ago.

I messed up and waited to pull the trigger while they were in cart and came back hours later to back order only.

Worse case scenario I’ll cancel the order and find another tire so I can sell the wheel/tire take offs right away with minimal mileage.
