I don't hear so well and I never get past half volume when I do listen to music.

I have my audio set at 20 most of the time. Only time I turn it up beyond that is if I’m listening to a podcast. They tend to he naturally quieter.

Am i missing something? I swear my JL reached 60.. Not much volume at all
I feel your pain--Stock speakers are an insult! Get some decent speakers from Crutchfield and a small 200 watt amp and you'll be loving life. I switched out all the speakers to Kickers and added a small Kicker amp. Anything over 18 and my ears will start to hurt bad.

yeah i have stock on my 2023 Gladiator Willys and im usually at 18 to 21 max...but if someone lives in houston and knows about all this stuff would love to meet up and help me decide on new front speakers and maybe a subwoofer if it can go behind or under back seat! i am not good at this stuff but i do love my music...over 28,000 on my itunes account (cds/mp3s/apple all included).

Nope, I have the base stereo and I listen to this on 38 fairly often. I have pretty good hearing and 38 is jamming, but it isn't anywhere near as loud as my base stereo in my basic azz commuter car. My VW Golf stereo is 20 times better for a car that sold new in the teens. I listened to an Alpine system and it was noticeably louder.

I guess with all the wind noise hearing damage Jeep just wanted to keep you extra safe with the stereo volume. haha

i do notice that when i am listening via bluetooth i have to go up to the high 20s or low 30s but when on cable connected carplay my apple music is perfectly fine and loud for me at 21...and this comes from having a 26 year best friend who has fronted a rock band those 26 years...so tons of shows at deafening volumes haha
i will report back when i travel by freeway to galveston less than an hour away on the freeway with my sunrider open! 🤪

Well, 60 is literally 22 louder than 38, so the JKs must have been WAY louder.

I have it at high 20s and low 30s with the premium system. Still running the same volume with terra acoustics in the dash but sounds much fuller and clearer. I think it's barely adequate. My wife thinks I have a hearing problem. She might be right. I run 300wpc rms into my JTR speakers in my man cave and 2400w into my sub.

I have the Alpine Premium system with the 8.4 Uconnect. I listen mostly to SiriusXM, and occasionally CD's. I usually keep the volume at 10, but vary between 8 and 12. Anything above 14 is getting loud for me. But, I'm always alone with the top and doors on.
