Walk Away Autolock

I actually prefer that it does not autolock as I walk away. I've had proximity locks in a couple of vehicles and they've always had a manual trigger. My BMW is the best so far as it doesn't have buttons (capacitive sensors both inside and outside the door handles).

The problem I see with an autolock as you're describing is the constant locking and unlocking that would occur if you're doing something around the truck. For example, unloading or loading gear. That would drive me nuts.

I would just leave the drivers door slightly ajar and the locks did not cycle.

That was an issue on my last vehicle, it was a bit of a bitch but I enjoyed the walkaway lock. I am sure if this was an option you could turn it off via Settings if working around the jeep.
