I had my jeep looked at for a vibration at idle. They belive it’s the camshaft (surprisingly) and said it would be $1050 or $0 if covered by warranty. It’s a 22 with 26000 miles. My concern is I have a 4 inch lift kit. Could this void the warranty??

A lift (and larger tires) do affect the power delivery from the engine through the drivetrain, and messes with factory shift points and driveline angles. That is a fact.

Now, whether they can successfully (or at least try) to blame your lift/tires on an engine component failing is likely up to the service advisor and dealership you're working with, some seem to be more mod friendly than others. Good luck with yours.

I read the warranty policy from beginning to end. It says that you can use up to a 4” Mopar lift if it were professionally installed. Many dealers ship them off to the local offroad shop but that’s still covered because it was professionally installed.

Would you mind taking a pic or screenshot of where it says up to 4" lift is acceptable? Can't say I've ever heard of that, nor would I imagine Jeep/MOPAR would ever actually state something like that since the OEM Jeep lift kit is only 2".

Even the new upfit lifts they partnered with AEV on for the Wrangler are only listed as max 2.5" lifts.

It sounds like the language out of the MOPAR Vehicle Protection Plan extended service contract "warranty". The problem is you have to buy a special rider plan for the lift and that is where they call out the "Professional" language and up to 4".

The basic vehicle warranty booklet does not call out lifts.

depends on if your dealer are cool or not. My service manager is a Jeeper, everything is warranty no questions asked.
