I'm looking to run some power cable under the truck and I need a water tight bus bar or distribution block. Plan is to split the cable somewhere near the floor slope from the back seats, one run will then route back into the cab to a DC-DC charger for the house battery, and the other run will continue to the back of the truck to an SB50 for a DC-DC charger on my trailer. Looking at ~40A when chargers are running.

This is probably the best option I've found so far on Amazon that "should" work (might not fit 4-6AWG). I'm sure it seals against typical spray off wet roads just fine, but I'm concerned about water crossings where it may see submersion.

I also found this that may work.

Any other options out there? Or any easy DIY options? I thought about using a small pelican case and just running your typical car audio distribution blocks.

I don’t think either link is water tight. Consider anything on the floor pan subject to being completely submerged under water. Insulated cables are ok but I would avoid any exposed connections under the vehicle.

You might consider running cables up under the rear seats then distribute from their back down through the floor pan to wherever. There are cable entry points at either side of the rear seats on the floor and I’ve run large power cables down the firewall into the frame then popped out right at these rear cable entry points.

If you have the aux switch bank, there are two 40a circuits under the hood, and same in the passenger compartment. I used the 40a underhood, and ran my wires in somewhat flexible plastic conduit and flex wire wrap to the rear for my DC-DC charger. I found conduit fed up above the rock rail or side step mounts much easier than feeding wires through the frame, tried both.
