I don't understand how so many models with either the same release timeline OR LATER have more information about them than the supposed Jeep Gladiator engine updates, including a 4xe or other electrification. Is Jeep going to spring a R3 type surprise about the Gladiator 4xe setup? I've seen nothing about it.

  • Please bring back Gecko green for a limited time.
  • Add my request for a soft top redesign that folds down further on the Gladiator.
  • Would like a darker, richer brown leather interior.

None of your business :)
The safety features like blind side monitoring, rear/front collision alert SHOULD be standard on ALL trims. If a $20k Kia can have these features, I don't see why a $45k+ Jeep can't have it and it becomes a $1k add-on. And as with my other vehicles, the safety features can be disabled for those drivers that don't prefer the constant beeping, etc.

And please DITCH the crappy halogen lights on $50k Rubicons. It's 2024 and LED's are like $20 on Amazon. IF Stellantis is too cheap, just do a bulk order of LEDs headlights from a Chinese warehouse instead. But no reason why a off road truck costing $50k comes with crap halogen lights....in 2024.

That's not how it works. Cars have to go through homologation testing, those cheap Amazon lights are never going to pass muster with the USDOT or any export nation. You can't just slap whatever you want in a production car and call it a day. All that design work to pass homologation, the testing and certifications are what you're paying for.

I can't believe people believe in those lights.....I wish it was legal to smash those damned blinding lights.

Oh but they look cool and I can see better!

You believe you can while others are blinded.
Not getting flashed doesn't mean you aren't causing problems.

Please pass along to the powers to be, to please, please re-learn how to paint your / our jeeps. Then when you solve that issue, hold your contractually committed (to Jeep) dealerships to doing the warranty repairs. It would appear by the lack of dealerships commitment to repair units shipped, that quite simply Jeep is not reimbursing them enough to give a dam about fixing YOUR mistakes. I’m 7 months in waiting for repairs, found out 2 weeks ago they gave the parts ordered for my jeep to another customer! That’s the last straw for that Jeep dealership, I fired them. Fix your dealership commitments, their killing your customer satisfaction and destroying your future sales.

How about window that don't leaks, sun visors that don't breaks, manual transmission that works, ball joints that will last more than 10k miles, rusting body panels. It's 2024 but with 1950s issues.

Because not everybody has those issues. There would be recalls out if there were. Look at the pentastar engine and how there seem to be issues with the passenger side hams lifters but not enough to make a recall, only a TSB.

Unlikely any recalls for non safety related issues. It's quality and reliability issues.

And frankly, at least a few are self-inflicted wounds. Not always, and not blaming, but once you start with mods that increase the stress on parts - they are going to wear fast.
I wonder with the visors how they are used - again, not saying there's no problem, but i can understand that if you swing them to the side, slide the visor back to block the sun, you have a lot of load sticking way out there on that arm and pivot - if you take it off road that way, it's gonna break.
Two sided thing - it should be able to handle that, but then seeing how mine get used, and my wife slams visors and often misses putting them back in the clip when she's done and puts them back - they hang and vibrate. If ours ever break, it will likely because my wife literally smacks them around, pulls hard on them, and doesn't always clip them back in place, leaving them hanging and shaking.

Sort of funny in a way - there was a similar problem with Eagle visors in the 80s! I got lucky and found a perfect pair of 1970s visor rods that were a perfect match to the later plastic visor rod pivot/mounts. So it's not a new issue at all - it's one of the most commonly sought after parts for Eagle and Spirit owners - visor mounts.

After my visor was replaced two years ago, I haven't had any further issues.

How about some nice 5" drop steps that bolt directly onto the stock step-rock rail for the JT and JL? My wife isn't tall and has both hips replaced. Getting in and out is a problem, and no one seems to make a drop step that just affixes easily to the stock Mopar rock rails on my '22 Overland. Thanks!

Here’s an EASY one and it won’t cost anything to implement. Program the power windows to go slow when they are in the last inch or two of being closed. lots of other cars do this. It’s nice if you want to crack the window a little and you don’t have to go back and forth a few times trying to get the window in just the right spot cause it’s moving so fast. Not a big problem but it is a nice touch and shows that you are paying attention to the little details.
