I had a shop install the Apex 2.5-ton steering kit on my Gladiator and do an alignment. Just noticed the drag link end to the pitman arm looks like it is at a severe angle. It has been a few weeks since it was installed and we have been doing quite a bit of wheeling. Nothing weird going on with the steering that I am able to feel.

Just adjust it level, no big deal.

Loosen up the nut. Twist the end until it's equal. Make sure the other end is equal too. Tighten up the nut. Double check the other end to make sure it didn't move when tightening up the nut. That happens a lot.

I had the same thing happen to me when I installed the same style kit from Rusty's. I called them, and they said it's normal for the drag link to rotate and stay like that. I triple checked everything and made sure that both ends were "parallel" when I installed it. It's been like that for about a year, and other than looking awkward, it hasn't caused any issues.

I installed mine “level” and as the ball joint loosened up it got floppy. Installed again as shown on your photo and it flopped less. It takes some of the motion out of the ball joint that keeps it from flopping around as much.

Let hope that they didn't torqued them nuts down wthout holding the bar. It can damage the anti flop joints.
