Living here in central Pa. we have a ton of steam engines around. There were a few original manufacturers local. We have some decent steam shows in the area.

That thing is pretty slick, truly 'rolls coal'!
Why on earth did they put and angry grille in it?

I posted this a week or so ago, I thought it was really interesting although a waste of $$ and I couldn't think of a good reason why It might work at the zoo and such places that still give the little train rides

Yeah, steam engines are common here, too. Old Settlers show each fall, among others. I've got pictures of a lot of restored steam tractors from shows I've been to over the years.
If they can resurrect and make a 130 year old steam tractor safe, can be done with a Jeep. Ask Jay Leno about his steam cars.
You need to be trained and licensed, as I recall, but a lot of guys my age in this state do just that.
