So after fixing my crack and doing some other stuff, I realized that part of the issue was probably how poorly the front panels were aligned. The passenger side was fine but the driver's side was terrible. Basically, when lined up in the hole and pin up front the panel was really crooked putting undue stress on (especially) the back right corner of the driver side panel where the crack formed. I was able to fix this by loosening the two bolts that hold the pin/bracket for alignment of the top panel. Once loosened, I moved the panel around on the roof and while fully seated (pin in the hole) and once perfect, I retightened the bolts that hold the pin/bracket in. Those lock the panel into position and alignment. At least part of the problem is the large amount of play for that alignment bracket once the nuts are tightened. I'm not sure if they tighten it with the panels on or aligned at the factory but mine was definitely NOT.I've only had it since Dec 7 and 3300 miles.
