I recently swapped out my 2021 Rubicon EcoDiesel for a 2023 Rubicon EcoDiesel. I have less than 400 miles on the new rig. The old one had over 40,000 miles on it.

The 2023 rides night and day better than the 2021. What did they change? I know they changed something in the suspension, that is for sure.

Changes:
1. Suspension (2023 rides and handles way better than the 2021)
2. The radio now automatically connects to my phone by bluetooth.
3. The seats no longer have the plastic molle panel on the back.
4. Stop/Start seems to work differently now.
5. The seats seem to have an extra adjustment in them.

Is there anything else different?

My '23 JTRD front seats have them on the back, but not sure if that's a leather seat or FarOut edition thing.
I didn't even notice until I got home and went to put on my old seat covers... oh well. I don't remember the 2021 having the long lever on the seat side that raises and lowers the seat height. If I end up with some extra cash I will look for new seat covers again. My old PRP covers from my 2021 do the job, but are failing...

None of your business :)
Didn't they also change the shocks on the '23 onwards..no longer Fox? But the new shocks are more 'street' friendly. I bought the exact same setup last week for $49k after haggling it down. I love mine as well and planning to keep this around at least 100k (unless diesel emissions choke on me).

In my opinion the entire suspension on the 2023 is way better than the 2021. The 2023 has a firm ride and doesn't lean in the corners near as much as the 2021. The 2023 also doesn't fade on gravel roads like the 2021 did. I don't notice any real difference in the rocks, but I have an XJ to beat on in the tough stuff.

My '23 JTRD is my first JT, but I had pretty low expectations of the stock diesel suspension after reading posts about it over the last few years.

I really like it!!! Which is a bit of a problem because now I really don't want to change anything to mess it up (i.e. lift/tires). :D

Don’t underestimate the ride quality of a Brand new vehicle, its hard for butt and brain to sort this out after 40k miles and hundreds of thousands of parts cycling…plus we dirt types tend to push them towards 100%+, certainly not how it’s engineered. New tires, wheels, balanced and equal pressured and shocks…it feels like a new rig again. OEM‘s to change anything that currently works cost money and erodes margin. Most changes by them are just trying to attract new buyers, especially young buyers…electronics is this groups wheel house. If I’m the king of Jeep, I would offer an embarrassingly bold set of electronics for the rig to snag that controller based group. Sorry I digressed…I will stand with (the OEM did as little as possible) while flushing out a product that continues to cost them money.
