Anyone know the torque specs for the transmission mounts, meaning the four bolts that go up into the transmission? It’s not going to be high. They were not hard to get out.
I assume that is the "Transmission Mount To Extension Housing" and would be 41 ft-lbs. There is another listed of "Transmission Mount To Adapter" that is 22 ft-lbs.

Thanks for finding this. So here it is cleaned up. The four holes take bolts that go to the transmission itself. The two bolts that attached the two v brackets that go into the rubber/ploy mount I didn’t remove. Then there are the two that attached the bracket on the bottom, to the crossmember below the tranny. It’s the four that go into the tranny I’d like to get right. The others will be fine with common sense and orange thread locker.

Looking at the pdf again, I’d say those are the transmission to the support bracket, so 12 ft lbs. they were easy to remove with a hand ratchet, so I’m guessing that’s right. Ill use my inch pound wrench and blue loctite then. Thanks again @Hootbro

Yeah, the terminology is somewhat confusing of what is what. I would look at the thread sizes and match up smallest to largest with low to high for the torque ranges.

I do agree, applying "common sense" is the name of the game here.

Cleaned up the tranny where it meets the adapter between it and the transfer case. Clean enough that I’ll see a new leak. I’m going with common sense, and blue thread locker.

I took it to 12, with blue thread locker, then switched to a normal ratchet and proceeded by feel. About a 1/2 turn was all it wanted. Stopped dead.

In preparation of a coastal visit this weekend, I made a stop for the rear window. We take our dog almost everywhere we go, so being able to leave the back window partly opened, but secure would be handy.

Piece of stainless steel from some old shelf, I cut to 6.5 inches. Drop it in the channel and bam. If I like it, I'll probably shrink wrap it so it fits snugger and doesn't rattle.
What I'd really like is a power rear window like our last two pickups.
Used this several times this weekend, worked out great. I'm gonna have to shrink wrap it, since if left in the window channel, it rattles while going down the road.

Got my half door setup rolling, Motobilt's setup for them is pricey, but is really well done.
Went together easily and test fit went great. Time to send them to powder coat now.

Went on a tangent with the crossmember replacement. In order to add some clearance between my exhaust and my engine/tranny skid, made a spacer to go between the transmission mount bracket and the top of the crossmember. The idea is to mount the crossmember 1/4” lower (version 1 prototype), as the skid attaches to the crossmember. That’ll lower the skid 1/4”. If it’s not enough, I’ll first see what I can do to add clearance at the front of the skid as well. I’m hoping 1/4” on the rear end is enough. It’s drying after painting now, but the test fit was perfect. Just 1/4” steel plate to match the bracket with two holes. We’ll see how it works out.

Sounds like it right under my seat ..cross member area.
The bolts were less tight than I’d have expected. Maybe worth a look.

Stan any aftermarket skids on your Glady?
If oil pan/trans skid was added, check exhaust clearance.
