yeeeeeah, about that. not happening. 1. rausch creek indicates it is closed M,T and W. 2. my membership would be $62.10, the bride $62.10 and a jeep day pass $62.10. they graciously wave the "passenger" fee when when the membership is paid on the day of first use. a buck eighty six thirty is a bit steep for two boh badges. 3. anthracite is less at $60 for us on a one day. 4. as per the MD park web site, reservations are required in advance. i quickly lost interest in it all.
I really dislike the parks for all these reasons.

Some friends and I rescued one of those once.

I’m actually surprised there aren’t more flops and rollovers involving independent suspension Fords and Toyotas. I see their vertical wheel travel at about 8” and them tipping a lot. I guess they meet the needs of the average person though? Not that I’m a radical rock crawler.

This wasn’t even a radical spot. @Mightytalldude drove the same line in a sport manual on 33’s after the recovery. No problem.

I haven’t tested my Gladiator yet, but my JKURHR could easily exceed my driving skills. I just gave it (the JKURHR) to my sister (who will only see a little snow now and again). So it has an easy retirement.

He took a bad line, dropped the front right tire into a hole, causing the rollover. Luckily for him it was a slow, almost controlled roll, so only soft top damage.

All joking aside, the Broncos are capable. The Wrangler has its strengths and weaknesses. Choosing your line is always the biggest challenge.

Spent some time in the mountains of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon yesterday. Found a trail that ended up being 22 miles long. I was bombing down the trail at 60 mph in my Mohave. Then the trail went from dirt to gravel. I kept going and the rear flares plus some paint took a beating. Trail was beautiful and the Mojave handled the washboards really well. Not many if any stock suspensions can handle these types of roads like the Mojave. My JLU wouldn't have been a beating and I would have turned around at mile 2. Luckily the rear fenders can be replaced for relatively cheap in FB Marketplace. For the life of me, I can't believe people buy Jeeps equipped with with painted fenders. Here is what they look like after being washed.

Yes - she later became my first.......

Oh hell no - for one thing it was the sort of apartment building that you wanted to be ready for anything at any given time (college town) and that green shag was in every room - every. The prior tenant was not Felix Ungar.......... I'd bet his name was Oscar.
How Odd 🤔😂😂

I haven't had my RSE sliders on for long, and only one offroad outing in the 2 weeks that I put them on, but they look to be in good position block/protect my painted flares from from flung objects.

Thats probably decent protection. I guess the next time I see a gravel road I don't have to give a crap.

I think the RSE will prevent a need for mud flaps but not stuff flying off the sides of the tires.
They don’t stop a whole lot of that debris. I tested mine and they still let a lot of mud coat the rear fenders. I keep it slow on trails as I don’t want chipped paint. I added the fender extensions but haven’t tested them as of yet.
