No way. I’ll buy the occasional low quality bench tool from them, but I’d rather have decent quality hand tools.
I agree. The feel of a quality tool is a very good reason alone. Plus you don’t usually have to worry about breakage.

No clue yet. But some fun unique ones like a two ended box wrench, one end is 13 and the other 15mm.
There's a story behind that (While @Hootbro sits there thinking "of course there is!")
Those you got are likely from the 1970s.
At that time US automakers were flirting with metric, or for those who had partnerships with Japanese makers, they of course included some metric bolts and nuts.

Back then, certain sizes like 16mm and 18mm weren't real common, along with a couple of others I'd have to think about or look back at my wrenches to see what's what from then.
My original set is what I got via the Plymouth Troubleshooting Contest back in 1975. It included all of the "standard stuff" plus some metric sets - minus 16 and 18 and so on.
Later on, as I worked on more and more non-domestic things, motorcycles, Porsche, VW, Datsun, Honda and whatever, I found I needed some of those sizes so filled in the gaps with other brands when it wasn't convenient to get to the Sears store - and i worked at a shop that included an auto parts store that sold............ tools.........
Today, 16 and 18mm are common - better have them.
(if my name is on the tool, I had it in 1975 as a college buddy had fantastic handwriting skills and put my name on every socket, small or large, every wrench, screwdriver and so on)

No 18mm -

16mm is a Craftsman I bought a couple of years later, the 18mm is an SK wrench to fill in that gap -

I am planning on totally re-doing this as some parts slid as the glue dried, making them uneven and skewed -

It’s official…… Izzy 3 is born!!
Was an intimidating process…. getting it where you want it and making sure everything lines up properly especially between the cab & bed. I’m happy with how it turned out. I hope it stands the test of time….. Those ‘lugs’ were hard to cut & weed.

I created my own easter eggs with small Izzy decals. The 4th one is on the rollbar that you can only see when the top is off (I hope its not crooked😊).

Pulled and cleaned the map sensor on my diesel. Have 59,000+ miles on it. Some guys are really fouled. Mine looked pretty good. Here's before and after cleaning.

a couple weeks ago i swung by the Motobilt factory in ozark al to pickup a skid plate package while on our way to hawk's pride mountain in nw al. when home, i prepped the raw steel and gave both sides of the skids a shot of vht gloss black rollbar & frame spray paint. great stuff btw. i installed it this week. whilst under the jeep i found a slightly loose shock bolt and a melted rubber collar on the front driveshaft, transfer case end. i mentioned this to wild hobo and in a matter of hours another member, Aleph, contacted me about him selling a used f&r set. Bingo! i acquired those and installed the clean front. now i have a spare set, not pretty but good enough to get off a trail with. i also begrudgingly installed a wumpin dent on the rear passenger side box. i need a paintless dent guy. (zip code 30223 if you are out there) i will not do a "proper" repair as i wheel a lot.

Wolf's Den. That's less than 2 hrs from me. Haven't been there yet.
yeeeeeah, about that. not happening. 1. rausch creek indicates it is closed M,T and W. 2. my membership would be $62.10, the bride $62.10 and a jeep day pass $62.10. they graciously wave the "passenger" fee when when the membership is paid on the day of first use. a buck eighty six thirty is a bit steep for two boh badges. 3. anthracite is less at $60 for us on a one day. 4. as per the MD park web site, reservations are required in advance. i quickly lost interest in it all.

I'll be at Rausch Creek this weekend with the Power Wagon group. Wheeling Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Might hit AOAA on on of those days. Yeah, Rausch has changed things around for sure. Some think it's not for the better. Heard that you can get a pass at the ranger station at the camp ground at Wolf's Den. But not 100% sure on that.

Don’t get on as much as I used to, but I put a new winch and some Clayton Springs on Wednesday to fix any sag…it’s actually completely level now, as I measured it. Since I actually use my truck as a truck, I might have to fix that if it doesn’t settle more…

I need to go through each one and look for fun unique items. I have that same 13/15 from this score.
