I don't remember what closeout panels these are, but I remember not using them on my Wrangler so they came in handy. I was able to wire up my fog lights. I'm not sure, but I think they are not as bright as my 2024 Mojave fogs. They are fine, just not as good. So maybe they made them better since 2020 which what this bumper came from.

I added the steel skid plate only because I didn't want to trim or pay someone to trim my Mojave. I would have liked to save some weight. It is noticeable on my standard Mojave which is crazy how sensitive they built this truck. They beefed it up, but made it sensitive to 40 extra lbs. Stupid.

So I just need to decide two things. First and most important at the moment, is what color to paint the tow hooks? Orange or black. I would prefer to use PlastiDip since it is durable and reversible. Matching orange to other accent would be harder than just using black.

The other question is do I look for Mojave springs or Clayton 1.5" or leave it as is? With the new replacement Fox shocks it firmed up the ride so they must have been blown out.

Tie dye!!!! I vote for tie dye on the hooks. And for trail lights use lava lamps!!!!

On the more serious side I’d say go for the Clayton’s. Just from reading around I think they’ll last you longer than the Mopar stuff. Might be a bit stiffer but you’ll elevate any kind of sag.

2022 Jeep Gladiator Sport w Max Tow
Max Tow originally came with terrible 245/17/17s. A friend gave me his brand-new Willys KM2 255/17/17 take-offs a few years ago. Recently added the inner fenders and KBD fenders in preparation. Finally time to upgrade...

to Kanati Terra Commander RTX 35x12.5x17 and installed a BDS 2" Leveling Kit with upgraded front springs, shocks all the way around, and longer sway bar w quick disconnects. It's a Max Tow, so I didn't want to swap rear springs and risk losing any towing from that perspective. Overall lift increase is about 3.5" on the front end and about 1.5" in the rear. Bought the iCar Pro 4 BLE and JSCAN to update the tire size. Next up will be the new door hinges that I will paint bronze to match the wheels followed by Scrambler-stripes in gold/bronze to match the wheels also. (hopefully over the summer/fall).

I thought going more expensive they would last longer. I was wrong. You’re basically renting the wipers from the sun for a few months. Of course they are dead right before ya need em. Every time. :like:
I’d just keep the new wipers under the seat until the next rain storm… maybe even swap back to the degraded wipers after the storm passes.

No pics but put on the Rival Hood Lift kit. Very straight forward. Guess I need to find a kit for my Scrambler... ;)

CoverKing Front portion of headliner done today. I added sound dampener and melamine foam under to give it just a little extra oomph.

Pics are out of order. I’m technically deficient.

Looks hard to do always worry about stuff like that coming unstuck.and saying down. How much glue did you use ?

I just sprayed a good layer of 3M on both surfaces and let it sit for a few. Once it was slightly tacky I put them together. The underpayment stuff is solid. That stuff absolutely will not come off. I’ll be washing my hands for a couple days to get the sticky back from the foam off. Not overly worried about the stuff I glued falling. The “clamps” for the tops will hold it so it’s not going to come down when I drive or anything. I plan on adding a molle panel down the center eventually anyway so not too concerned. Windows are open for a few hours to allow it to off gas the rest of the way.

Edit: And the front are super easy to do. I just added the extra because I like to make things more difficult for myself than they should be.

Finished the paddle shifter install:
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] IMG_2810

Much maintenance so far this week. Replaced both air filters, did 5 tire rotation, engine oil and filter change, and replaced both batteries. Now trying to adjust the parking brake, because it is merely a suggestion at this point.
