Love the bumper, my only question is any ideas on how to see the right tail light?
I just went outside and took this from about 50' behind my Jeep. Not totally blocked, and if I get stopped for it, with a little effort and expense, I can go 2" driver.

I love how it looks! I also have the same bumper on my granite jt haha! Question, is that just a Mojave skid plate? It looks really clean
Thanks! It is just the Mojave skid plate, bolted right back up with no clearance issues. Just want to add some lights next!

Received a full front and rear set of NIB bestop soft doors, sold by a forum member. Installed the fronts and coyote mirrors and tried them out. I think they’re staying until winter. The rears are staying off for now, as I’d prefer solid doors for the kids. But they might go on for an adult only wheeling trip. Also rigged up some magnets on the soft doors so the RSE steps still function like full doors. It worked perfectly.

I swapped in a new main battery and bypassed the aux one.
I got some funny dash errors while driving up to do John Bull a few weeks ago, luckily no issues during the trip.
Well, today was slow to start and the ESS warning came on, so I drove straight to Walmart to get a battery so I didn’t get stranded later.
Just to clear up some different threads I had to look at:
Pull fuse 42 to bypass the aux and disconnect the negative wire, I taped up the end and covered it in plastic loom.
When I have more time I’m going to pull the fender and remove the aux battery itself.
Apparently they swapped the connectors on the main and aux wires according to this Thread courtesy of @jebiruph :

The aux lead is always the thinner wire, but it may have the L shaped “A” bracket after MY21 or so.
My 2020 had the “B” end as shown.

Was relatively straight forward and quick to do. Most of my time was spent looking for the thing that I just set down. ?
How's the noise difference on the highway ?

Yeah measured 3 times, cut them and then spent the time cutting the threads.......the steel they use is hard as hell. Getting the threads started was a PITA.

Did you use a lathe or hand thread with a die? If by hand you most have Popeye arms. Sounds like you had to cut off all the factory threads to fit. What lift do you have and what length did you end up at?

I cut the threads by hand.......I have some decent strength in my forearms LOL

Yeah I took static measurement of the truck at ride height and went from there. Yes, i have to cut beyond the threaded portions, so I beveled the links and got to cutting the threads.

I have a '23 JTM with the AEV 2" kit. I can take pictures and measurements later today. The threads are 1/2 20

I picked up the die and handle at TruValue for under $15

The Warn Elite bumper finally showed up. Been super busy here, so I had the local 4x4 shop put everything on. They did a good job. Loving it so far. Tried to get into a little trouble, but didn't need the winch to get out.......YET!

Re: the pics :

Bumper has a nice fitment, and I really love the way it looks compared to other options I considered. I've heard some difficult stories about the Warn bumpers fitment, but the end result was good. Don't know if the service tech was swearing a lot or not though.

I opted for a full width bumper due to looks, ergo's and the fact that it will get daily driven quite a bit. Not expecting to make this a rock crawler animal. I don't think anyway. Hope I don't regret the full width....

I really like the way the EVO winch fits down into the bumper. Nice and recessed. Yeilding lots of airflow to the rad, and hopefully still enough room to get the grill off easily. I'll find out soon enough. Supposedly, I'm not affected by Warn's remote recall. I have the wired ONLY remote. Not the wireless which seems to be the recalled item.

Also, I'm hoping the 10k is enough. Again, time will tell. The shop said it should be more than enough for a Gladiator.

The Warn front Skid will no doubt get some action on the trashy rock trails we have here. Seems quite beefy compared to the stock rubicon one.

The Baja Designs dual spot/flood foglights were a last minute addition after the JWSpeaker ones didn't fit. So far I absolutely love them. WAAAAY more light than my stock halogens which are not long for this world... Had to readjust via "hand" wedging them after getting flashed a few times. Hoping they will hold their angle.

Overall the welds and design and materials of the Warn Bumper seems great. They are claimed to be top notch. Again, time will tell... Attention to detail seems great.

Took it out on some local NorAz trails after getting her back. So nice to have the comfort of an "insurance" winch. Even though I didn't need it this time.

BTW, as an aside, the winch / bumper / front skid package took the front end suspension down between 3/8" and 1/2". About what I expected. I will probably put on the Terraflex 1.5" leveling kit. Or if I fall into some money, I'll go straight to the Mopar 2" lift and 35's.

Good times!!! Really loving the Gladiator. 4 months in now.....and yeah, been emptying every pocket.  But loving every minute of it.
