The Warn Elite bumper finally showed up. Been super busy here, so I had the local 4x4 shop put everything on. They did a good job. Loving it so far. Tried to get into a little trouble, but didn't need the winch to get out.......YET!

Re: the pics :

Bumper has a nice fitment, and I really love the way it looks compared to other options I considered. I've heard some difficult stories about the Warn bumpers fitment, but the end result was good. Don't know if the service tech was swearing a lot or not though.

I opted for a full width bumper due to looks, ergo's and the fact that it will get daily driven quite a bit. Not expecting to make this a rock crawler animal. I don't think anyway. Hope I don't regret the full width....

I really like the way the EVO winch fits down into the bumper. Nice and recessed. Yeilding lots of airflow to the rad, and hopefully still enough room to get the grill off easily. I'll find out soon enough. Supposedly, I'm not affected by Warn's remote recall. I have the wired ONLY remote. Not the wireless which seems to be the recalled item.

Also, I'm hoping the 10k is enough. Again, time will tell. The shop said it should be more than enough for a Gladiator.

The Warn front Skid will no doubt get some action on the trashy rock trails we have here. Seems quite beefy compared to the stock rubicon one.

The Baja Designs dual spot/flood foglights were a last minute addition after the JWSpeaker ones didn't fit. So far I absolutely love them. WAAAAY more light than my stock halogens which are not long for this world... Had to readjust via "hand" wedging them after getting flashed a few times. Hoping they will hold their angle.

Overall the welds and design and materials of the Warn Bumper seems great. They are claimed to be top notch. Again, time will tell... Attention to detail seems great.

Took it out on some local NorAz trails after getting her back. So nice to have the comfort of an "insurance" winch. Even though I didn't need it this time.

BTW, as an aside, the winch / bumper / front skid package took the front end suspension down between 3/8" and 1/2". About what I expected. I will probably put on the Terraflex 1.5" leveling kit. Or if I fall into some money, I'll go straight to the Mopar 2" lift and 35's.

Good times!!! Really loving the Gladiator. 4 months in now.....and yeah, been emptying every pocket.  But loving every minute of it.
Looks good.
I have the evo 10k on my JTRD and am not in the least worried about the size or lack of.
You could always get yourself a recovery ring and tree saver starp, then that 10k will definitely be more than enough.
Just becareful, you'll find yourself trying things you wouldn't of done before the winch install. Take lots of pics. Haha.

Rear track bar relocation bracket to take some of that tail-end shimmy out.

Not terribly keen on those little Allen screws where the bracket wraps around the axle, or that aluminum bracket for that matter...

2+1 beers for install.

After a little research and debating back and forth between the Antirock front sway bar, I did something a little different.

I was able to find a Hellwig HD Front Sway bar for a JK for only $150 on Ebay, compared to the $400-600. I found on the JL Forum that the Jk sway bar does fit the JL/JT, but one cannot put a JL/JT front sway bar on a JK.

For the Mojave, I didn't have to relocate the Fox Res's as on the Antirock, there are some responses on the forum that say you do, but with the Hellwig, you don't. To accommodate the sway bar, I decided to run the Synergy JL/JT links, as my MC ones that came with GC lift were way too long.

Final Thoughts:
  • BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK, especially with the Ebay deal.
  • After driving around for quite some time, I must admit, I am shocked at how smooth, sturdy, and nice the ride actually feels. No more bobble head, and it's nice that the ride absorbs the bumps and crappy roads like nothing.
  • I thought maybe my passenger side may have had some rubbing with the coil spring, but that was not the case. You are able to easily shift the front sway bar with how the Hellwig mounts are designed, just have to make sure everything properly aligned and even.
  • I did notice the ride does feel just a tad bit floaty, while my steering might need to be tightened. I do have the Synergy upgraded steering components, but it seems that it just needs to be tweaked just a smooch to make the turns firmer.
  • Other than that, 10/10 Upgrade, and highly recommend.

Shoutout to @Metalcloak, @Synergy, and @Hellwig for always making the Mojave ride PERFECTLY!

What does “2+1 beers for install” mean? Is that like, 3 beers?

Added a couple of A pillar gravity pro6’s utilizing the aux switches which made this task super easy and quick.

Well, got to try out the lights. Hood glare not bad at all mounted on A pillars. I like!
