Finally installed some aftermarket seat RMPs. The factory system is just too small and limited. I thought about Grey Man Tactical, but they were too expensive and these cheaper ones work fine. I don’t mount guns to these. I’ve got a much better place for my truck gun.

https://a.co/d/4J3nWFB

With this I can carry my lil’ truck tripod and Vortex Razor 13-39 straight scope and a window mount at arms reach; my mini tool kit (1/4 inch drive stuff, bit drivers, etc); a ppe/admin bag (gloves, N95 masks, Dewalt safety googles, pens, fuses, etc), and my bag for truck odds and ends (winch remote, power tank scale, locking hitch pin, rotopax parts, etc). I’ve still got room for more.

The RMPs are strapped in but I also added self taping screws at the bottom. They stick out a bit with all this stuff but there’s still room for people in the back with the seats moved a little forward. Usually only the dog rides in back anyway.

Without anything on them they’re flush with the back of the seats but you lose the knee room where the indention for the molle attachments are. You lose that anyway if you use any of the factory molle attachments

The indention for the OEM molle attachments doesn’t become wasted space because you can now stuff things behind the RMPs. The upper bag here is empty. So I’ve got about half this panel left for stuff

I keep my Duluth Traders dog hammock connected to the front seats, so this stuff is usually covered up. I can still get to my scope from the front seat and to everything from outside with the back doors open.

Sounds like a plan. It's just gonna be a while as I only have 3,400 miles on it so far ?
Well , so yesterday my Main battery croaked.
Had to go get another one replaced the auxiliary battery a few months ago and the main was good all the sudden through a couple sharp cold drops and what have you it said nope aint working.
Which is so weird how the battery went out . It wasn't dragging or anything even remote started it a day or so ago and then was out on a jobsite and went to start up and it was just dead . Would just slightly engage the starter once and then just click after that.
$294.00 AGM of course . Charged it up before installing of course.

As you can see from my mileage I wheel this thing everyday.
Probably one of the most dependable vehicles I ever owned love this truck and am thankful to have it. Think I'm about ready for those coil pack and sparkplug upgrades @WILDHOBO

What year is yours? I’m just a hair under 50k on my ‘21. It’s rolling fast. If you’re serious, don’t hesitate to pm me. Happy to talk on the phone to provide some pointers that would save you some time with that project.

Yesterday a Subaru side swiped my rear bumper (what they did to my gladiator yesterday) in a parking lot. Not a mark on the Gladiator, nice big scuff on the rear quarter panel of the Subaru, Steel Bumper Group for the Win.

Seriously though, if these had plastic fascia over the rear bumper, I would have had a mark but thankfully the conglomeration of mud on the bumper (PNW winter mud) acted as a sacrificial surface. Unfortunately for the other guy that mud also had the consistency of sandpaper.

I finished the steel (aftermarket) bumpers install this morning. I just never cared for plastic bumper covers on trucks or Jeeps. Plus, if someone hits my Gladiator, I want them to have something to show for it.

One of my Nephews employees took care of mine for me ? basically started the whole ball of wax . Then came the tires and suspension lift and shocks etc...?
It's a disease with no cure except to sell all vehicles and get a horse ?

Well…. I’m not exactly sure what they did. I only see 1 bolt head that looks like a socket was on it. No stickers under hood, drivers door jam or fuel door. No instructional flyer on the dash, center console or front seats.

I didn’t even get a receipt from being there or for work completed. They said they’d email it to me once the tech completed his report.

they did however confirm my front drivers side warranted shock was bad and would order one in.

Was it the original battery? I know you have quite a few miles but it wasn't that old based on the year of your truck. My last vehicle did the same thing but my battery lasted about 6 years. Didn't give any warning or sound weak. Got in at work and it wouldn't start. Maybe that's just the way they work these days. Did you consider doing the aux battery delete? I have seen mention of it but have not researched how that works and if there are any issues if it's done. I have not had mine long but so far like you I am loving it. You need to plan that road trip to go see @WILDHOBO.

Added a few tie downs to the back. Used the nut for a spacer so they can pivot freely.

Are you switching to synthetic line? That steel cable will destroy a hawse in a short period of time.
Love the tie down idea.
