It was definitely a film like melted plastic. Exactly what I would expect from a congealed hydrophobic fluid. There’s nothing like that in the bottle except for the washer fluid I kept adding. I’ve used it in the past without major issues. There’s a lot of heat right next to this bottle so maybe that’s a factor. It’s also may be age. How many of us have bottles of this stuff laying around that are months or a year or more old. The stuff starts to break down. I just poured out a bottle of bug and tar formula had turned into green glue like sludge. At least the filter protected the pump.

I’m mostly disappointed that I didn’t have the usual nightmare getting the AAL fender liner off, so I’ve been robbed of the opportunity to hate on these things some more. I guess 3 iterations of relief cuts and rubber edging has helped. They still make noise.

Had the same thing happen to mine after an oil change place topped off my washer fluid. The MOPAR Fluid and what ever they used mixed together to create a clog just like that.

After using Rain-X for years with no issues. I had to replace the level sensors in both my Power Wagon and Grand Cherokee within months of one another. Haven't used it since.

Just picked this 2023 the other week and got to do my first "mods" installed some ebay trail rails I got for $130 and the Tyger T1 roll up tonneau cover. Started work extra early so I could start installing them mid afternoon. Easy install and impressed with the quality of both especially for the price. The eBay trail rail, I swear it's from the same manufacturer as the official Mopar parts that cost almost 3x more!

But we are excited!? I’m looking forward to going camping next time and finally not having to sleep on the ground.
