Started today installing the AEV 2.5" lift I bought last weekend. Just finished up before dark with the front half, will tackle the back half tomorrow. First time dealing with geo relocation brackets and bit of a pisser. My tolerance of rolling around on the ground doing this type of stuff is waning.

I know it.... my back and neck problems really show their ugly selves while under vehicles. Even as long as I've worked on aircraft, I like them better.

It wasn't exactly "today" but over the weekend added some 17x8.5 -10 TE37 reps on some 35x12.50 KO2's. Also added an OEM Mopar 2" receiver hitch and took the boys out for some riding.

Snagged a Readylift 2.5" lift with some Falcons from someone locally. Ordered up some Clayton bump stop spacers front and rear. Any other worthwhile parts recommended while I'm installing this lift?

I continue to do trips to Home Depot or Lowe’s and draw people watching me load unthinkable things in the back of the Gladiator. ? Also those little half height tailgate things at garbage. One broke today and it tried to take me out lol. For real though people sit and watch me load this thing all the time!

So Finally got around to installing all the stock rear bed outlet parts. Flashed the ecu with Jscan to turn it on, along with turning on the hood alarm. Probably should have done the horn flip but my hands were feeling it from futzing around with the security bypass cables.
Horn flip?

Horn flip?
Flip the horns so the wires are opposite of the stock mounting. The stock mounting leaves the horn wires exposed thru the grill which makes it easy for a crook to clip the wires so you can’t hear the alarm going off.

I saw this mod when I first bought my truck. Didnt make sense to me. But maybe its for small hands? I paid attention to how I was able to flip mine up and down on the way home and didnt feel i had to do any reaching etc. But prob a good mod for you! Just trying to understand this one.
It was never a big issue, just felt like it could have been a little bit longer. Now it is right at my fingertips with quick flick to flip it up or down. It is one of those things as someone on the JLWrangerForums pointed out, I never knew I needed it until I tried it. Now I'm loving it.

More side on 17’s, simple as that.
I gotta disagree on this one. I’ve always been the double the wheel size type of guy. I could complain about 20s on 35s and likely 20s on 37s, but 20s on 40s works.
