Cleaned it out after the epic Moab trip.

Then rewired the subwoofer amp remote on to aux 1. That way if my wife uses the Jeep there won’t be bass. And it wasn’t turning off as it should with speaker level input signal. The head unit was still sending a signal long after the Jeep was turned off and doors open and shut. Now it’s immediate.

Just a heavy duty box knife blade and tilt cutting more inside than outside of flare. No file or dremel type tool to clean it off.
Waiting for rear inner liners to arrive. I’ll chop the front tomorrow but I already did the Metalcloak gutz delete kit last week

I love to see the Mall Crawlers that have no pinstripes, no scratched sliders, no bent tailpipe that are adorned in "all" of the BoH badges.

But I guess I wouldn't expect anything less from some people, they are willing to put 37's and sliders and winches and such on so that it looks like they off-road, so why not put proof of all the places that that vehicle has never been on the side as further adornment.

Added some LED Factory Latch Locks.

Overall I like them, material is not going to rust. They feel similar to factory material. The locks are a little worrisome in how they hold up over time to Ohio winters so I guess we'll see.

Installation was super easy, 10 minutes.

Happy to have made it a bit more difficult for the "bad element" to just take a battery or something else.

The big transformation started yesterday and will hopefully be done later tomorrow. Summit4x4 in AZ is doing the hard stuff. More updates on the process soon, but so far looking good. Did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. I got a different brand but gives me a little peace of mind. I know nothing can keep someone if they want to get in bad enough but anything to slow or deter them makes me feel better.

I promoted it. I added a new daily driver so it can get a break from everyday miles. It’s now the off-roading, camping, and truck-stuff vehicle only. It’ll last longer now. I was putting miles on so fast. I got this brand new for 18k including sales tax. Tough to beat since I’m getting about 260 miles of range. I’ll charge it once per week, if that often.
