Drilled eight holes in top of my RSI cap!! Always hate drilling into anything like a roof but wanting a light weight 100 watt USA made solar panel , to help with my house battery charging to run my fridge.
Zamp makes a very attractive low profile panel that weighs very little compared the typical larger 1.5” tall type, this is less then half that height at .69”. Buying the “Blem” panel which I can’t find why it was also big help in cost. Finishing up control panel install today, but no sun in Pa. for a long time,Ha!

Looks great!! I need to relocate mine to the top of the RTT. Too much wind whistle and noise with them being on top of the hardtop.

I have been extremely happy with the performance and quality of the Zamp panels! I'm sure this will be perfect for your needs.

Added some Metalcloak rear reinforcement brackets.

I just ordered the same bracket & the instructions said to tighten to manufacture torque… so how many foot pounds did you tighten them?

I just got scheduled for surgery so I went to the dealer to see what they would charge…$180 per hour…
guess I’ll have to wait and do it myself later this summer.
Unfortunately being “out of commission” usually means ordering more parts I can’t install…

I used the specs on the attached file. Found them posted in the forum a while back. The two smaller upper bolts I hand tightened.

Hopefully you caught them before they broke so you can wait to install later. I usually have parts in the garage waiting to find time to install.

Sway bar link torque is 60ft lbs.
I didn’t see that on the chart posted.

Air design makes them. They are applied with 3m tape and an adhesive. I liked the extra protection

I like that you don’t have to drill a bunch of holes in the door to install them

Yesterday, I added a BulletPoint wireless charging and GoPro mount. Also, Oracle LED reverse lights. Nothing overly exciting, but after 2 years (May 27th.) of not having a phone mount, this is a fantastic setup (for me).
The Oracle lights… they’re BRIGHT AF!

I like that you don’t have to drill a bunch of holes in the door to install them

indeed. However the adhesive is quite permanent. It sticks almost immediately so line them up before applying adhesive to them.
