Sounds like we need a legit write up
I have thought about a few times but given the nitpicking I have seen in the various Aux Battery delete/disable thread of how they would do it, decided not to. I have no problems getting medieval with a job and tearing into something, but I do not think most are. There is risk of messing up the fuse array if not careful. The way I do it, there is not going back to stock unless you buy another harness as I scab the terminal ends off the removed one for fuse array and fuse box.

I have helped a handful in the past by private message. That I have no problem doing.

You would need to take it down to the lowest common denominator - explaining the differences between the two auxiliary battery ground cables (change for 22+) and that sort of thing. Not a "for dummies" thing - but there's a few things many would not be aware of - because there's normally no need to be aware or even care.

You went in through the top so there's the risks there to be aware of.

I'm the sort that would really strip things out and then build it back better, relocating things along the way.

To fully remove the wires that go to the PCR relay that is on the back firewall and taped in with another harness that stays, you have to go top down and remove the fuse box that sits in a tub that is also the main battery tray

Also, I retain the AUX battery ground and run that to the fender ground so I do not have to mess with the removing either from the main battery ground. Figured it was one less wire to remove and it does not hurt the main battery having a larger ground path.

I had thought about locking storage, but with all the stuff I have under and behind teh seats, I'd never get the lids closed and locked! Those look nice and with the hinges front, locks to the rear, harder to bust into.
.
It’s certainly not a perfect solution. Afterall, you could knock the pins out of the hinges. 🤔 It’s nice to have if we ever wanted to transport a few pew pew pew’s.
We are legally able to do so, but it’s always best to keep that stuff locked up.

After a long day of customer outages, deal with employee charge codes and team/personnel realignments....... mentally smoked. So had to grab a case of wine for the wife went to throw it in the back........I jammed the case into the door jam.

Good news, the whole team and myself are good because we all have numerous skill set that cross over to other businesses units.

So whiskey:30
A hook on my garage pegboard holding shovels gave out and a shovel handle dinged my JK's door. I bought a cheap puller kit and it came out 100%. Thanks to ignorant people swinging their doors into my wife's SUV, I've used it on her car too, with almost as good success.

Installed Rockhard 4x4 rear frame side control arm skis on Sunday and today I installed the Teraflex rear control arm brackets.

If they are equipped to do that, not much will stop them. Like anything else, another layer, slowing 'em down. And I'm sure the locol LEOs could appreciate you having things locked up. (and for insurance claims)

Hope you used lots of anti seize on the bolts. If you have to remove them after a Pittsburgh winter. You might have to cut them out like I had to do.

lol, very true. A few jeeps ago, I was returning one to stock to trade in and I got to the point where I hoped the bolts would just snap…

Even still, I’m not willing to finish the job looking like the tin man, ha.

Added some decals by LBdesignworks. I ordered a tailgate wrap as well, but may or may not have a professional shop install as the hood decal was kind of a pain. It’s not perfect, but good enough for me.

A rare Friday off work so I took the opportunity to finally install my Wolfbox G850 PRO 4K

- Powered thru the OBD2 port
- Rear cam VHB mounted on the trailer hitch
- OEM Style mirror mount

Works Great

Two issues though; the sun visors are now useless and mad glare on sunny days.

The visors can’t be helped unless any of you guys have a solution, and I purchased a mat overlay to hopefully knock down the glare.

Question for @WOLFBOX

Is there a setting to automatically put the screen to sleep?

I installed a Decked System in our JT Mojave today. And I already have it filled with recovery gear, tools, air compressor, first aid gear, and survival gear. That didn't take long to run out of room to put stuff again. But at least I have more stuff with me now.

Isn’t it sad that a cardboard box will dent a body?

I cringe when I see videos of owners who say "and the factory fenders can be easily ripped off the plastic retaining clips!" Ok, yeah, let me know which fails more often ... sheet metal or plastic clip.
