I don’t have a spring compressor, but I imagine with my luck, it I would’ve effed that up too and actually die lol
Cut your losses, figuratively. I have, as an EMT, worked two "loss of digit" with even weirder stories than yours! Both involving a dog at the scene with one who enjoyed a tasty fresh treat.

Installed the Mopar 2” lift over two days in my driveway. I went with the diesel version for the heavier spring rate since I’ll be loaded down more times than not.

Everything went smooth until the rear. When pushing the spring up onto the perch, my finger somehow got pinched between the spring and the perch. I could not get it out and the pain was excruciating. After releasing there was no one to help me I took what strength I had left and pushed the spring up as hard as I could to get my finger out. Even if I had my phone right next to me I don’t think I could’ve called anyone, had I let go of the of the spring with my other hand the downward pressure onto my finger would’ve made me faint. I guess this is the risk I took doing this job completely by myself.

I’ll take better pictures soon, when I’m not completely exhausted! Haha

Ouch on the finger!

Wondering , did you keep the diesel springs part numbers on the respective side the instruction said or did you swap them L/R since you were putting them on a gas JT?

You can borrow them free at places like O'Reilly's - just a deposit you get back when you return it.
Made swapping out my front Synergy springs a breeze.

I can’t find mine yet after the move. It almost happened to me yesterday pulling springs out. Nasty stuff. It’s happened to me before, but I was able to get it out. Terrible though.
I've seen too many springs go flying across a shop floor followed by a bunch of yelling and screaming.

I genuinely don’t know how people get hurt by those. With some common sense, you’d need to try to hurt yourself. I’m guessing the ones from the old days didn’t have safety pins to prevent them from releasing the spring.

Seen a machinist pinch the most of his little finger off setting up a piece to be machined. Walked up to me calm as could be cupping his hands with the missing finger part in his palm. Said to me, "I just cut off my little finger." I replied back, "What do you want me to do about it?" Called 911. They took him to the local hospital. From there he was life flighted to a trauma center. They couldn't save the finger.

That’s pretty much the standard prognosis: You won’t be picking your nose with that finger again…

We had an idiot here actually grab a 2" e.m. while it was spinning. Lopped his finger right off. Made me cringe just hearing about it.

Not with it attached anyway.

Gave her an oil change...exciting I know.
Then accidentally on-purpose misplaced my rear seats
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] RearSeatsGone

Relatively simple process after reading several threads on the forums.
Plan is to build a rear seat delete storage / flat deck next.
