Possum Lodge word game.
Red had to get Dalton to say the word "water".
Red gives the clue - "this is something you drink a lot of"
Dalton responds - beer!
Red says - no, this has no flavor
Dalton responds - oh, American beer!

2022 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. First Jeep.
Finally got a chance to put back on its warmer weather/summer things. Tires/Wheels and hood/grill covers. Just don’t call it an “Bra!” Lol. Also added just a little “bling” with the Mopar pedal covers.

Another week and the roof/doors should be off for the remainder of the summer season - Labor Day-ish.

Cold/Winter months;

My wife wanted a receiver on her car for bike racks. Not a Jeep, but what a nice easy install. I’ve not done a 1.5 hour car project I don’t think ever. No clips. Just screws and bolts. No drilling, no hardware even needed. The only “part” I used was some orange thread locker.

the EcoHitch is a little more complicated to install than the typical aftermarket hitch, but it retains a whole lot more ground clearance.

I’ve had them on other vehicles as well in the past. I thought it would be bad being a Volvo. It was the opposite. No clips. Just bolts and screws. Very well designed. And less than a third of the price to buy a receiver from Volvo.

Been a busy day. Did an oil change, fuel filter change, grease all the Johnny Joints and steering linkage. Sending oil sample to Blackstone Labs. Rotated the tires. The tire jack I got from Summit Racing is paying for its self.

Installed the Rock Jock frame plugs. The ones in the frame were easy to install. Took a razor knife and cleaned the hole. Then used a rubber mallet to tap into place. The plugs for the cross over tube were a PITA because the holes are not exactly round. They are kind of egg shaped from welding. Had to use a die grinder with a burr bit to round out the holes.

One of those tire jacks is in my future. Not immediate, but at some point. Thanks for the recommendation

I loved the steering feel with mine, but for the life of me couldn’t figure out clearances.
