Any change in sound?
Yea, a little, probably 12-15% change. It's not louder by any means, but it just purrs weird now like the tone changed. Seriously, like a tacoma--its hollow sounding. I thought I was safe and would be free of a change in sound since it wasnt the muffler, but that resonator kept it from sounding like @ss. Just hoping I get used to it. I got a really high clearance bumper and the resonator would have been the lowest hanging thing so I took my grinder to it and removed it in all of 30 seconds.

Before and after (new bumper is in PC and not on yet).

which one?, I took out the rear bumble bee butt resonator and replaced with a turn down exhaust tip and hardly any change in sound.
Which tip did you go with? I can probably hear it more because its dumping out by the left rear brake line. If it went down, it would probably move the sound away from my ears. I also have a soft top.

Passenger side front wheel bearing hub replaced. Some PB Blaster, WD 40, a whole lot of waiting, some ugga dugga whack f#ck ow and it came out. Cleaned the surfaces with a scotch brite pad, even cleaned the dust shield since @WILDHOBO made me feel guilty by doing that on his. Put back together and torqued to spec, and a final test drive, and what a difference. The old hubs were definitely shot.

šŸ˜‚ I'm building it up now for some overlanding / fishing trips and hoping to really start using it. My last kiddo moved out last week so we are officially empty nesters here. I have a few more projects to wrap up at my daughter's place, but am hoping to finally get around to using it.
I'm in the same boat. I have no clue what the PO did or didn't do maintenance wise, so I'm Trying to replace everything but with an upgrade. When done I am thinking a Out West Jeepabout. Like the walkabout from down under, but in Western murica!

Finally got around to the finished product of several projects in the past week. Although I didn't crawl under the girl to take photos of the PPE trans pan and trackbar/sector shaft brace.
It's a work in progress. May take to Lebanon where I know where a few trails exist, but not very challenging.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm trying to replace the known problem parts before they become problems. I've broken enough stuff on previous Jeeps to know I don't want my next trip to end in something breaking. That said, I'm definitely not going to be as hard on this one as my previous Jeeps when I was younger. I crossed the Mississippi fort he first time last year and went out to Utah. I can't wait to go back. We flew out last time, but I want to take the Jeep out this next time and explore some more.

Just a cheap Amazon one, 2.5 OD but i cut some slits it the exhaust and clamped it downOver the tip.
On a side note, It came chrome but I fine sanded it, then hit it with Metal etching paint, then Engine flat black.

I hated the polished aluminum, so I sanded the fairlead so again I sanded, and hit it with a shot of metal etching paint and then painted it grey to match the Gladdy. Wasn't good enough so so shot a plated pattern with black. Now it's good. I like it!

Finished the Undercloak and then was able to get the rear lift put on afterwork. Had to quit bc my boy says he doesn't feel good and wanted me to clean up and come take came of him. So be it! Hopefully the working in the cool and rain last night isn't the culprit. Front will be done tomorrow or sunday!(im swapping from Mopar lift to 2.5" @Metalcloak GC lift)

Reinstalled track bar, but loose.
Greased all four tie rod and drag link ends.
Reinstalled tie rod and steering stabilizer. Nothing torqued to spec, but I can finally look at clearances. I’ll rotate clamps and play with things before driving it, plus I don’t have shocks or swaybar links. That needs to wait until next week as I’m waiting for the vise jaws to do the shock eyelets. So much more clearance between drag link, track bar, and stabilizer. But I’ll need to really get things right with bump stops so the drag link can’t hit the frame.
