getting the top sway bar bolt loosened was very difficult until I got a cheater pipe, but other than that, super easy.
Easiest to remove the lower bolts first. Otherwise the bolt binds under the pressure from the swaybar. Especially since the uppers are in threaded press nuts.

Yesterday swapped out all my diff cover bolts for stainless Allen bolts. So much nicer. I was sick of rust and chipped paint.

I never took the bottoms loose, but it would have been easier if I wasn’t fighting the bar…

That’s what happened to me the first time. Then I learned. I thought the bolt was stuck. Without the sway bar they come out easily.

So I had a little problem the other day rear locker light came on.
Was talking to @Maximus Gladius and He showed me a pic of the magnet that the sensor set on how it gets this fine metal flakes built up on the magnets which doesn't allow the sensor to read. So I picked up some 75W-90 and dropped the diff cover and sure enough it was as discribe thanks @Maximus Gladius . Here are some pics.
The Amsoil 75W-90 I drained looked brand new ( had changed at 48k but didn't drop diff cover 🤦 ) I should have .
Was a fun little project didn't take all that long either . Throwed in a little video of me trying the lockers and how fast they engaged and disengaged .

Outstanding. My sensor not only had the flakes, but the seal had failed and it was full of oil. Many use potting compound to prevent that. I haven’t yet though. But I should.
