That's what I did with General tires. I gave them the door sticker PSI, the original tire size and so on, and they figured what I should run in their tires.
No need for guesswork when the tire companies have done the homework for you. I was very surprised on mine 46psi, I asked twice to verify, Load range E, but as @WILDHOBO said, they are correct, and wearing quiet nicely. I'm at 10k on this set and they are wearing evenly.

Your tires completely surprised me, but their recommendation has turned out correct hasn’t it? Of course, I’m not a rubber engineer, lug doctor, sipe statistician, or a sidewall superhero. That’s why I call and ask the experts.
Well well well as luck would have it I happen to be a wear bar tabulation expert. Wow it is just a small world aint it.šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Dammit. I keep googling ā€œwear bar tabulation expert near meā€, and I’m coming up with nothing. I guess you need to move. :)

Got new tires put on. I stayed with Mickey, but am going to try Baja boss MT’s. I had the ATs for the last two sets. It’s not my daily driver anymore, so why not. I haven’t put the rash guards back on though.

Kept with the same size?

Unfortunately yes. One more round of 37’s. I really hope Mickey comes out with a 38 by the time I need the next set. So slumming it for now.

Well, I almost have 500 miles on my new Gladiator, and the major mods are done. Last weekend, I installed a new front bumper and a Warn Zeon 12S winch. Unfortunately, the bumper was too heavy for me to lift and install on my own, so had to enlist a little help from the cherry picker and 4 post lift.
IMG_1937.jpeg

After the bumper was installed, winch was pretty easy to install as it can be handled by one person. Routing the cables up to the battery took a little effort to ensure they didn’t contact anything else in the engine bay. The outside cube lights are wired on the original fog light circuit, while the 20 inch light is wired on the first Aux switch.

I was able to use the original Rubicon metal skid front bash guard, as it followed the contour of the Rough Country Tubular front bumper, which was a pleasant surprise. I’ve only been home for 18 days after our winter trip, so making good progress. Majar mods so far:

- AEV 2.5 lift with Teraflex 1 inch front spacer
- Clayton rear track bar to keep spare under the jeep
- front Rough Country track bar (this is only needed because I am running the Baja Boss 37 tires on stock rims)
- Rough Country front bumper
- Hood lift cylinders (had them on my JK and love them)
- front and rear differential skids
- Warn Zeon 12S winch (I alway run the Warn cover to keep water from getting inside the winch)
- Lox Rox chase rack. I’ve always felt that the bed looks orphaned from the cab, so wanted to tie the bed into the cab.
- Trail Rails

Mods still in process:
- custom bed side graphics…still in the design process with the company that will do the work…
- Wire the ARB Twin I brought over from my JK
- Install my low budget rock lights and wire to an Aux switch (I just use 4 cube flood lights from Harbor Freight, and never had a failure)
- Install/Wire a slim light bar on the chase rack
- wire the LED lights in the chase rack into the bed light circuit for better bed lighting
- Finish building the rear seat delete system.
- Purchase/Install belly pan

I’ve had a lot of jeeps since the 1980’s so have a good idea how I want my new Jeep prepped before I make the purchase. The Gladiator is not built for extreme rock crawling like my JK, but it will be able to handle most trails in Moab (we normally spend 3-4 weeks a year in Moab), the Rubicon Trail, Dusy Ershim and all the other no name trails we happen to find during our travels.
Nice build! How’s the Rough Country front bumper holding up for you? Do you happen to know how much it weighs?

Ive got lines out to both my buddies that own shops and to a friend that works for a marketing company who's biggest customer is Michelin/BF. Ill decide on what I go with when pricing comes from all my sources.

Dirty Dog Heritage Tan roll bar pads. On sale I got them for $122 shipped! They’re a little lighter than the heritage tan cloth seats, that’s ok for now.

What mirrors are those, they look good?
I have no idea haha. They came in a ā€œJeep lotā€ I picked up on FB marketplace. $20 for those mirrors, foot pegs, rubicon tow hooks (which I’m still trying to give away), and a Jeep hitch cover. I love them though. They work great.

Installed the Powerstop Z36 brake kit I bought during Prime Day(s). Factory front pads still had about 75% material left and rear had over 80% (38k miles). The stock brakes weren't bad (I don't tow). I'll see if these new ones live up to the reviews.

Im in a flux also on tires @Shibbyjeep
As I told @WILDHOBO the off road capabilities of the Mickey Thompson MT was very good . They have great grip on road they grip and corner well can get a little touchy in heavy rain but what has really rubbed me wrong is they are slightly egg shaped. Yep thats right. The tire shop told me so I ordered them through the net was in a pinch had to have them that day. They had a whale of a time trying to get them balanced and I still belive them not to be exactly correct as they vibrate at certian speeds. They have grown increasingly noisy as they have gotten toward the last 20-25% of their life span . I am really wanting to know if anyone tried the MT all terrains ? And if they got really noisy toward the last part of their life span . Yes . I ALWAYS run them clear to the wear bars and get all my money's worth so I want to know how bad they get .

Also may have gone too far with the latest piece by Distinction Applied although I love their stuff.
I got the idea to send them a bug/stone guard for the hood. They happily did the custom order and it's gorgeous but ohhhh that's a lot of flame-stache in that flame-stache.
