I have the trans clunk going into R issue. I also have a 4 link triangle rear suspension by Rock Krawler going in. Is my factory warranty on the trans going to be good?
Probably, as Jeep has used lifts to void warranties for years. Only way to tell is to take it in and hope for the best…

Over the weekend, a buddy and I installed a 4.5" Evo Enforcer Stage 4 lift and some Bilstein 5100s. Super stoked with the outcome, but now I'm in the market for a front drive shaft, lol.

Mounted and tested out my x-rack rod holders and diy board rack.

More details on the X-Rocket rod holders: I didn’t see any reviews of these and they’re stupidly expensive. But they’re the only game in town for mounting rods this way, so I pulled the trigger. I can no longer take my beach cart with its rod holders because I’m towing the Opus, so I got them for my surf rods. I also like not having 12 feet of rod, way up in the air. I ran into some issues with the install, but the company took care of me. These are a legit product.

The board rack is made from 80/20 extrusions and a pvc roller with 3d printed ASA bearing cups. It works really well. I’ve stacked a few boards on it without issue. I had to make a long ASA center bearing support insert because even solid core furniture-grade PVC warps in the sun. The 1 1/2 inch pvc still warps a little. I’ve thought about going to a 2” roller, but the pvc actually has straightened itself. For my purposes it really works well even if it’s a little wonky. You actually have to be careful unloading board because once they hit the roller they want to zoom off the back.

I also went with a hybrid this time. 94,000 miles in, on a DD, with maybe 1000 off-road. Got 42,000 out of M/T 35's and 52,000 out of M/T 37's. Idk if I can get more out of X/T 37's, but maybe more peace and quiet

Pat's M/T were my last set, granted "only 37x12.5", but 2 of em cupped at 30k miles. Loud as F for 22k miles. FYI. You may have better luck. I loved Pat's for 30k miles

Drove thru a pop up thunderstorm after work. So, drying out the next few days with the ole' golf balls in place
Armorlite solves this. Still the best mod I've ever done to any of my Jeeps. I don't deal with rain at all, but lots of sand which would be a nightmare with carpet.
